Contacting the winner
As soon as the result is published we email the winner and phone them on the number on their account, within 48 hours. Every entrant gets an email with the result.
Checking ID
Site credit prizes (instant wins and draws) are added to your account automatically, with no ID check. For anything else, before we send a prize we need to see photo ID (passport or driving licence) to check the winner is 18 or over and is the account holder. Reply to our email with a photo, or we'll talk you through it. We delete the photo once checked.
Delivery
Prizes come from our own warehouse and are delivered free to any UK address within 28 days of the winner being verified.
Cash alternative
Where a competition shows a cash alternative, the winner can choose it instead of the prize. We pay it by bank transfer within 48 hours of the ID check.
What we publish
We show the winner's first name, initial and county, the winning ticket and the full draw record on the winners page. If you'd prefer us not to show your name, tell us. Winner photos are only shown if you send one and agree.
If we can't reach you
If we can't reach the winner, or they don't complete the ID check within 14 days, we draw again using the next published random round, in the same way, and publish that too.
