- You need a free T2U Comps account. Write the email address you use for it on the card.
- One unenclosed postcard per entry, first or second class.
- Proof of posting isn't proof that we received it, and we can't be responsible for post that's lost or delayed.
- It must arrive before the competition closes. Check the “post by” date on the comp page.
- We email your ticket number when it's entered.
What to write on the postcard
- The competition name, exactly as it appears on the site.
- Your full name and postal address, as they are on your account.
- Your phone number.
- The email address of your T2U Comps account (join free if you haven't got one).
- Your answer, if the competition has a question.
You don't need to write your date of birth: we use the one on your account.
Where to send it
The rules
- Use an unenclosed postcard, not a letter or envelope, sent by first- or second-class post with the right stamp for a postcard (a standard first or second class stamp). You pay the postage. Hand-delivered cards can't be accepted.
- Write clearly, ideally in block capitals. We can't enter cards we can't read.
- One entry per postcard. You can send more than one, up to the competition's per-person limit, but each must be posted separately. Postcards sent together in bulk count as one entry. Cards with missing, illegible or wrong details can't be entered.
- You must have a free T2U Comps account with your address and date of birth on it, and the name and email on the card must match the account.
- It must arrive before the competition closes. The ticket box on each competition shows a “post by” date to allow for delivery.
- If your card arrives within 72 hours after the closing time, it can't go in that draw, but we add one ticket's value to your site credit so you can enter another competition online. Cards arriving later than that can't be entered.
- Postal entries count towards the competition's per-person limit and the total ticket cap. If the cap has been reached when your card arrives, we can't enter it.
- You must be 18 or over and live in the UK.
- Free entry isn't available for free giveaways, because they're already free.
If it arrives late
Up to 72 hours after the closing time, a late postcard earns you one ticket's value as site credit, and we email you to say so. Credit can be used on any competition but can't be exchanged for cash. If we ever fail to key in a card that arrived on time before the entry list is locked, you get the same credit.
What happens next
We key in postcards as they arrive and email your random ticket number. If it's an instant-win number, we tell you straight away. Your postcards and their ticket numbers also show in My tickets, where you can search them. If we can't enter a card, we email you the reason. We don't return postcards; we shred them once they're entered.
